NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey on November 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM prevailing time at the Princeton Municipal Building, 400 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, New Jersey 08540, at which time and place bids will be opened and read publicly for: CHERRY HILL ROAD SHARED USE PATH This contract provides for the creation of a shared use bicycle path along Cherry Hill Road between Foulet Drive and Crestview Drive. The principal items of work consist of the following: approximately 3,300 square yards of asphalt milling; 450 tons of hot mix asphalt
12.5M64 surface course; 350 tons of modified open-graded 12.5 mm friction course; 235 cubic yards of concrete footings and retaining walls; 300 linear feet of granite and concrete curb; 2,600 linear feet of traffic marking lines; and other related miscellaneous work. The project must be substantially completed in one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. The entire project must be completed in one hundred fifty (150) calendar days. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Municipal Clerk, Princeton, 400 Witherspoon Street, First Floor, Princeton, New Jersey 08540, and the outside of the envelope must be clearly marked with the name and address of the bidder, and the purpose of the bid: “CHERRY HILL ROAD SHARED USE PATH .” Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check or bid bond of an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00, payable to Princeton.
