Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the contract documents and plans by the Township of Hillsborough, upon proper notice and payment of a non-refundable copy cost of $50.00 payable to the Township of Hillsborough. Proposals must be made on the Standard Proposal Forms in a manner designated in the contract documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the work on the outside and must be accompanied by all items identified in the Contract Documents including, but not limited to, a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and a bid guarantee (Proposal Security) for not less than ten percent {10%) of the amount bid except that the guarantee need not exceed $20,000.00. The Township of Hillsborough reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty {60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the Township of Hillsborough.
