NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Hopewell in Mercer County, New Jersey (“Borough”), is requesting Statements of Qualifications under the provisions of the Water infrastructure Protection Act, N.J.S.A. 58:30-3 et seq. (“WIPA”), from capable private and public entitles for the following: Sale of the Borough of Hopewell’s Water Utility System, Physical Assets and Infrastructure Under the Provisions of the Water Infrastructure Protection Act (N.J.S.A. 58:30-1 et seq.). The Request for Proposals (“RFQ”) is available for downloading from the Borough’s website at https://www.hopewellboro-nj.us/resources/water/. Qualified respondents shall submit Statements of Qualifications no later than Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. , local prevailing time, to the Borough Clerk’s office, located at 88 East Broad Street, Hopewell New Jersey. Statements of Qualifications shall be submitted as directed in the RFQ. Following the receipt and evaluation of Statements of Qualifications, the Borough shall determine which respondents satisfy the minimum requirements of the RFQ and are qualified to purchase the Borough’s water utility system, physical assets and infrastructure under WIPA. The Borough intends to then issue a formal Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to each qualified respondent in accordance with WIPA. The RFQ does not bind the Borough to: complete the RFQ process, identify any qualified respondents, issue an RFP to qualified respondents or ultimately consummate a sale with any respondent.
