PUBLIC NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 8th day of January, 2025 at 7:00 PM the Borough of Hopewell Planning Board will hold a public hearing on the application of the undersigned, at which time and place interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. Said meeting will be held in person. Interested parties can appear in person or represented by Counsel to hear the proposal and testimony of the applicant’s witnesses, ask questions regarding the proposal and offer comments. Bulk variance relief from §12-11, Attachment I, for side yard setback, where 10 feet is required and 1.75 feet exists and is proposed to remain, although the height of the roof within the nonconforming setback will increase slightly and the current use is expanded to the new half story. TOWNSHIP OF HILLSBOROUGH MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS & PROPOSAL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES The Township of Hillsborough Municipal Utilities Authority (TTHMUA) is issuing a Request for Qualifications & Proposal (RFQ/RFP) from Engineering firms and Engineers licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey to provide Professional Engineering services to the TTHMUA. In addition to general civil engineering, the firm or engineer must provide environmental engineering services with proven expertise and experience in all phases of wastewater treatment (experience with collection facilities), operation, design, permitting, collection/conveyance, construction/inspection, planning, management and any other engineering need for the TTHMUA from March 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026. Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. Proposals will be evaluated by TTHMUA on the basis of the most advantageous, price and other factors considered. The evaluation will consider: a. Experience and reputation in the field with at least 15 years +; b. Knowledge of the TTHMUA and the subject matter to be addressed under the contract; c. Availability to accommodate any required meetings; d. Designated professional and support staff and location of firm’s offices; e. References in general; f. Compensation proposal; if used, please state what percent multiplier will be used for calculating the billing to the TTHMUA; g. Review plans for proposed construction by other agencies; h. Review plans for proposed sewer extensions and prepare recommendations to TTHMUA; i. Determine bond amounts for sewer extensions; j. Review and certify completed sewer extensions; k. Prepare recommendations for reduction or release of performance bonds. l. Provide advice and assistance to the TTHMUA, its staff and consultants on all engineering matters. m. Preparing reports, designs, plans and specifications for wastewater or other environmental projects undertaken by the TTHMUA; n. Attending meetings, as required. o. Other factors if demonstrated to be in the best interest of the TTHMUA. Selection of Engineer shall be based solely on the TTHMUA’s evaluation of the submitted material, and the criteria set forth in this document. The TTHMUA reserves the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract with the successful firm or firms to obtain the most advantageous outcome for the TTHMUA. Proposals (two copies) must be submitted in writing in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Proposer and the words “Professional Engineering Services”. Proposals shall be sent to the Qualified Purchasing Agent of the Township of Hillsborough Municipal Utilities Authority, located at 301 Towne Centre Drive, Hillsborough NJ 08844 no later than Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., at which time all proposals shall be opened. 1x, HB, 12/27/24, Fee:$48.35 Affidavit Fee:$15.00
