CALENDAR YEAR 2025 ANNUAL NOTICE OF REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETINGS OF THE PUBLIC BODIES OF MONROE TOWNSHIP In accordance with the requirements of the Open Public Meetings Act, the schedule of Regular Meetings of the Public Bodies of Monroe Township for the Calendar Year 2025 are as follows and will be held in the Monroe Township Municipal Complex, 1 Municipal Plaza unless otherwise stated. If the need arises, all meetings may be held via zoom. If so, the zoom link will be provided on the Monroe Township website www.monroetwp.com on the Calendar under each specific meeting date. A.D.A. COMMITTEE: Three times per year; First Thursday in March, June & September at 10:00 am in the Court Room. AFFORDABLE HOUSING BOARD: Four times per year; Second Wednesday in January, April, July and October at 6:30 pm in the Court Room. COMMISSION ON AGING: Bi-monthly (every 2 months), starting in January, the second Tuesday of each month, at 9:00 a.m in the Conference Room at the Senior Center, 12 Halsey Reed Road. There are no meetings in July and August. CULTURAL ARTS COMMISSION: Third Monday of each month, except January and February, which will be held January 14th and February 11th at 7:00 p.m., on the lower level. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD January 15, March 19, May 21, August 20, October 15, and November 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Court Room. ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION: First Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. on the lower level. There will be no July Meeting. HEALTH ADVISORY BOARD Last Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September and November at 6:30 p.m. in the Court Room. HISTORIC PRESERVATION Second Monday of each month at 7:00pm in the Lower Level Conference Room with the exception of the June meeting taking place at the Dey Farm Historic Site located at 401 Federal Road, Monroe Township. There will be no meetings in February, October or December. HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION: Second Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Court Room. There will be no meetings in May, July, August and December. INSURANCE FUND COMMISSION: April 2, August 6, and December 3 at 10:00 a.m. via zoom. LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES: January 21, February 18, March 18, April 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, September 16, October 21, November 18 and December 16 at 6:30 pm in the Program Room at the Library. There will be no meetings in August. MUNICIPAL COURT: Every Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. via zoom and in person; 4th Tuesday of every month – all day session via zoom and in person. Court will not be held on Legal Holidays. N.J. TRAINING SCHOOL FOR BOYS CITIZENS REVIEW BOARD Two times per year; Wednesday March 12th and September 10th at 6:30 pm in the Court Room. OPEN SPACE AND FARMLAND PRESERVATION COMMISSION Second Wednesday in February and May and Third Wednesday in October at 6:30 p.m. in the lower-level conference room. PLANNING BOARD: Fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Court Room, except there is no November meeting and December meeting to be held the first Thursday of the month on December 4th. SHADE TREE COMMISSION: February 4, April 1, August 5, October 7 and December 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Planning Conference Room. TOWNSHIP COUNCIL All meetings will be a combined agenda/regular meeting. The agenda meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the regular meeting to immediately follow in the Council Chambers. The dates are as follows: January 6, January 29, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 4, June 30, August 4, September 3, October 6, November 5, December 1, and December 22. RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD: Second Monday of each month, except for October, November and December which will be held on the Third Monday, at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Center, 120 Monmouth Road. There will be no meetings in July & August. ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT: Last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Court Room. except there is no November meeting and December meeting to be held the first Tuesday of the month on December 2nd.
